The first day of the journey takes you along the scenic countryside roads of Dalat, where you can admire the area's stunning landscapes. After visiting a coffee farm, where you can taste different types of coffee, such as Mocha, Robusta, Arabica, or even weasel animal coffee, you will continue your journey to a local family that produces traditional homemade rice wine. Here, you will learn about making this local delicacy before proceeding to a silkworm factory to get insights into silk-making. The highlight of the day is the visit to the Elephant Waterfall, a massive waterfall where you will enjoy the impressive views of its magnificence. Close to the fall are the Buddhism Temple and the highest Lady Buddha statue in the south, where you can learn about Buddhism through expert guides. To top off the day, you will have the chance to try various local cuisine dishes for lunch and stop at the K'Ho village to learn about the unique culture of the group that belongs to the 54 different ethnic groups in Vietnam. The day ends with a stop in a flooding village for photos.
DAY 2: LAK LAKE → BUON MA THUOT (BMT CITY)
On day two of the journey, you will experience the wildlife of Lak Lake and learn about the local culture of the M'nong people, who have lived in the area for generations. Then, take a dug-out canoe trip to the second lake to experience the natural beauty or visit local food markets to buy fresh chicken baguettes for a picnic lunch in the national park. You will then travel to BMT city, the capital of the central highland and coffee, where you can learn more about coffee production and the local lifestyle.
DAY 3: BMT CITY → CHUSE
After leaving the coffee capital of BMT city, you will visit a political prison with small rooms for prisoners during the French to the American war period. This visit will allow you to imagine the harrowing experiences that the Vietnamese prisoners underwent during war times. Next, you will visit the Phu Cuong waterfall to relax and enjoy the picturesque views of the surroundings. Finally, the trip will continue to small villages along the Ho Chi Minh Road to Chuse, allowing you to learn about local people's way of life in the mountainous region.
On day 4, you'll continue your journey by rolling along the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail. You'll discover the beautiful Sea Lake - a perfect place for relaxation and photo-taking opportunities. You'll also visit a tea farm and Buddhism temple before experiencing the small and peaceful land of Kontum along the Dkbla River. You'll be able to admire the ancient cathedral architecture, such as the wooden church that stands as a religious site and a historical monument. Finally, visit Kon Katu village to see the particular Rong house and beautiful river and learn about the daily life and culture of the local people before ending the day by checking into your hotel.
Begin the fifth day of your journey by discovering the daily life of Vietnamese people and visiting a war monument where you can see VC (Vietnam Communist) tanks used to fight against the American and southern governments during the war. Next, you'll visit the old Phoenix Airport and Charlie Hill - both significant battlefields during the war. You'll be able to appreciate the historical significance of these locations and learn about the war through the eyes of the Vietnamese people.
DAY 6: PHUOC SON → A LUOI
Ride along the once battleground area where the southern government dropped the infamous "B52" bombs on Vietnam from 1964-1967. This region was also used to transfer weapons and troops from the north to the south during the war. Explore the environment by visiting the local villages and taking in the scenery by stopping to take pictures.
Leave A Luoi and discover the historic Hamburger Hill, a significant war history site 30km long on the mountain with spectacular nature to enjoy. Then, visit the Minh Mang' Royal Tomb, where you can learn about the area's royal history and explore the art of making conical hats. You will then stay overnight in the old Capital city of Hue, a serene and cultural city.
On the last day of the Vietnam Motorcycle Tour, explore the beauty of the fishing village and Lang Co beach before taking along the renowned My Khe beach, voted one of the most stunning coastlines in Vietnam. This beach is famous for being the military base of both the French and American armies. You will then travel through the picturesque Hai Van Pass, surrounded by clouds with fantastic ocean views, featuring some of Vietnam's most breathtaking landscapes. After a delicious lunch, relax and swim at the Dream Waterfall before visiting the Tam Giang Lagoon and Local Fishing Village on Highway 1A. The tour concludes at around 4 pm upon your arrival in Hue.
